Terms & Conditions

Every effort has been made to produce sets of plans that are accurate and easy to follow. The labour that goes into each design is considerable and the payback is slow and low, but the work involved in creating a design is interesting enough in its own right to make it worthwhile.

I want your boat building project to be a success and for you to be proud of your achievement, so I will gladly provide you with any help I can.

You must take responsibility for ensuring the Kentish Boat design you have chosen suits your particular requirements, your intended cruising area and your seamanship skills. You must also make sure the design meets the boat building regulations in place for your state/country/province and that your use of the boat complies with those regulations applicable to the area in which you choose to venture onto the water. Kentish Boats cannot be held responsible for any accidents or injuries to persons or property resulting from the use of one of its designs.

As Kentish Boats has no control over the materials used in construction, the skills of the builder, whether the plans or instructions were followed, the accuracy of construction or whether acceptable boat building practices were used throughout the build; Kentish Boats cannot be held responsible for any accidents or injuries to persons or property resulting from the use of one of its designs.

Each set of plans are sold for the construction of one boat only. If you would like to build 3 boats to the same design, you will need to purchase 3 sets of plans. You are purchasing the right to build a boat, design rights are retained by Kentish Boats.

Plans must not be resold unless written permission is given by Kentish Boats.

Due to the nature of the information supplied purchases are non-refundable.

Liability of Kentish Boats is limited to the price paid for the plans.
